Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in a performance marketing agency, with experience rooted in paid media and measurable outcomes.
- Have account leadership experience in a performance environment, either as an Account Director or after transitioning from marketing, paid media, analytics, or campaign management.
- Speak credibly about Google Ads and know what to investigate when performance shifts, lead volume drops, or conversion quality changes.
- Understand how paid media, SEO, creative, data, CRM, websites, CRO, and analytics connect to drive outcomes.
- Understand how media channels work together, especially search and social, and translate performance signals into strategy.
- Have managed client relationships, led strategic conversations, and presented recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Have experience leading a focused book of roughly 3 to 8 accounts.
- Have worked with clients spending at least $50K/month in media per client; $100K+/month is strongly preferred.
- Understand business outcomes such as revenue, pipeline, lead quality, conversion paths, and customer journeys.
- Be willing to take ownership beyond a narrow job description, including building dashboards and resolving ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Translate client business goals into multi-channel marketing strategies that drive measurable growth.
- Build trust with senior stakeholders through clear communication, proactive thinking, and strategic recommendations.
- Help clients understand how paid media, SEO, creative, data, CRM, websites, CRO, and reporting work together.
- Speak credibly about Google Ads, paid social, and media performance.
- Analyze performance trends and identify issues before they become client escalations.
- Challenge client assumptions in service of performance goals.
- Lead a focused portfolio of accounts and understand each client's business, performance drivers, and risks.
- Partner with media, SEO, creative, analytics, and strategy teams to clarify priorities and align outcomes.
- Turn reporting, dashboards, and performance analysis into actionable client insights.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, timelines, documentation, and communication.
