Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Have strong experience with Python and Apache Spark.
- Understand data modeling, ETL processes, orchestration, and distributed computing.
- Understand software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Have experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Have experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Have related experience in analytic programming, data extraction, querying databases or data warehouses, and data analysis.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: AWS experience, including S3, EC2, Glue, or Lambda; R experience; Databricks or Apache Spark certifications; or SAS experience.
Responsibilities
- Use test-driven development to deliver backend systems and user interfaces.
- Contribute to APIs, specifications, and data models that support integration with frontend applications and third-party systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain data interactions.
- Optimize data operations for performance and scalability, and ensure data integrity and security.
- Design and develop user interfaces informed by UX designs.
- Contribute to functional and non-functional automated testing suites.
