Requirements
- Have 6+ years of experience across analytics engineering, data engineering, and analytics roles, with real modeling ownership.
- Have experience at a consumer product or fintech company.
- Bring deep expertise in SQL and analytics data modeling.
- Have extensive experience building data models and pipelines from scratch.
- Have hands-on experience with BI and analytics tools such as Looker, Mixpanel, or Tableau, including building semantic layers.
- Use AI tools in daily work and have automated parts of your workflow.
- Demonstrate the ability to own a workstream independently from question to decision.
- Be proficient in at least one programming language; Python is preferred.
- Be fluent with modern transformation and orchestration tooling.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain core analytics data models connecting raw user, product, banking, and risk data to company dashboards and BI tools.
- Design and maintain pipelines and transformations for analytics and data science use cases, with data quality, freshness, and lineage checks.
- Advise Product, Risk, Marketing, Growth, and Finance partners on metric definitions and instrumentation.
- Build and maintain the semantic layer underlying BI tools.
- Use AI-augmented workflows for model scaffolding, test and documentation generation, and exploratory analysis.
- Create reusable query, visualization, and code components for teams.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and platform engineers on modeling standards.
