Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of technical work experience using analytical tools and writing analytical reports.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience working with large datasets and distilling analyses into relevant insights.
  • Have experience communicating reporting updates and resolutions between technical and non-technical users across at least 2 reporting projects.
  • Have experience using SQL to filter and aggregate data and build CTEs, or proficiency in R or Python, including Pandas, for loops, and statistical tests.
  • Be proficient in Google Sheets or Excel, including VLOOKUP, nested IF statements, and connected Sheets.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in healthcare, finance, or the insurance industry.
  • Healthcare analytics and reporting experience is a bonus.
  • Experience managing value-based contracts at a payer or provider organization is a bonus.
  • Experience developing dashboards and using Looker or other business intelligence or data visualization tools is a bonus.
  • Exposure to healthcare contract negotiations, risk adjustment, ACA marketplace, quality of care, or population health is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data to support business teams in making informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Present findings clearly and concisely so non-technical colleagues can understand them.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of operational and analytical dashboards.
  • Update and enhance dashboards as users' needs evolve.
  • Create models and tools to identify inefficiencies and generate relevant insights.
  • Collaborate across the organization to identify improvement actions and monitor their impact.
  • Support other strategic projects as assigned.
