Job Details

Have 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, including owning the books rather than performing only data entry.
Have strong, proven proficiency in QuickBooks.
Have strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
Have comprehensive experience with day-to-day accounting functions, including bank and credit card reconciliations, AP/AR, and payment tracking.
Be precise and accurate when working with numbers.
Have strong organizational and time-management skills.
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
E-commerce business support experience, particularly Shopify financial reporting, is a nice-to-have.
Experience reconciling Shopify Payments, PayPal, or Stripe is a nice-to-have.
Familiarity with inventory-based financial reporting and COGS is a nice-to-have.
Experience working remotely with U.S.-based companies is a nice-to-have.

Manage and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks.
Record daily financial transactions accurately and on time.
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly.
Process and track accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Generate, send, and monitor invoices; track outstanding balances and follow up on payments.
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Track finances related to inventory and product-based operations, and reconcile e-commerce sales and payment transactions.
Identify, investigate, and resolve financial discrepancies or unusual transactions.
Maintain organized digital financial records, compliance documentation, spreadsheets, and financial tracking tools.
