Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience overseeing complex technical projects at an agency, web development firm, or digital marketing company.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Have experience working in an agile environment.
- Understand web development projects, applications, and technical concepts.
- Have knowledge of Drupal, WordPress, and/or mobile development.
- Have experience with web project management tools such as Jira, Redmine, or Basecamp.
- Understand web usability, accessibility, and user experience best practices.
- Have strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
- Have problem-solving and leadership skills and work well as part of a team.
- Have strong communication skills in French and English; English is required for regular collaboration with clients and team members outside Quebec.
- For remote applications, be based in North America and available during Montreal working hours.
- For candidates based in Montreal and its suburbs, work three days a week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Oversee projects from conception through development using agile methodologies.
- Work with creative and development teams to keep projects on track and meet deadlines.
- Create project timelines and establish internal processes and checkpoints.
- Coordinate web development, art direction, graphic design, and digital content production.
- Manage and report project schedules, budgets, and status.
- Assign issues to designers and developers and track them through completion.
- Represent client needs at Evolving Web and support client satisfaction.
- Provide insights and suggestions as projects evolve.
- Supervise a team of developers and provide regular performance feedback.
