Requirements
- Bring 8+ years of project or program management experience in M&A, corporate development, consulting, financial services, enterprise technology, operations, or similarly complex environments.
- Have prior experience leading an M&A project.
- Have experience leading or supporting merger, acquisition, integration, or other high-visibility cross-functional initiatives.
- Be able to operate independently in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities.
- Build alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Communicate complex topics clearly to executives, teams, and external partners.
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion with sensitive or confidential initiatives.
- Have experience managing projects involving multiple systems, functions, vendors, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution using an organized, flexible, and pragmatic approach.
- Anticipate issues and proactively solve problems.
- Have experience recovering or stabilizing challenged projects or programs, or navigating ambiguity during organizational change.
- Travel up to 35% as needed based on project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, integrations, and other major cross-functional projects from early planning through execution.
- Build and manage project plans, timelines, workstreams, milestones, and decision logs across concurrent initiatives.
- Coordinate teams across finance, legal, HR, product, engineering, operations, security, leadership, and external partners.
- Organize due diligence data requests, track open items, and coordinate stakeholders across workstreams.
- Drive integration planning and execution, including readiness activities, dependency management, and post-close follow-through.
- Identify risks, dependencies, blockers, and decision points, and drive resolution strategies.
- Facilitate executive communication, status reporting, governance meetings, and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage competing priorities while maintaining visibility into overall project health and driving accountability.
- Improve internal M&A processes, integration playbooks, and operational best practices.
