Requirements
- Have 7-10 years of project management experience.
- Have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or other related years of industry experience or project management certification.
- Use remote meeting tools such as RingCentral, Zoom Meetings, Microsoft Teams, GoTo Meeting, WebEx, or Google Meetings.
- Use screen sharing to facilitate collaboration while maintaining client anonymity and PHI security.
- Facilitate remote meetings with a focus on engagement and inclusion.
- Plan for contingencies and anticipate problems.
- Independently lead on-site or remote external client meetings professionally.
- Listen and respond effectively to internal and external customer needs.
- Communicate ideas, information, and directions effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Solve complex problems using root cause analysis, manage ambiguity, and negotiate.
- Remain organized amid interruptions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: experience in healthcare, dental, vision, or software; technical-to-business translation; external client relationships; client requirements meetings; or product and software implementations.
- Preferred: familiarity with Microsoft Project, Excel, Microsoft Teams, OneNote, and Visio.
- Preferred certifications include MPM, PPM, PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple large-scale, high-profile external-facing corporate projects simultaneously.
- Lead on-site client meetings to scope projects and gather requirements.
- Define and manage project scope, goals, and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop project plans and oversee deliverables through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closeout.
- Assess business requirements and guide the design and delivery of technical solutions, including applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate project team communication, priorities, resources, and deliverables.
- Track project progress, provide status updates, and escalate significant concerns and issues.
- Build relationships with external clients and internal colleagues, and mentor peers in the Project Management Office.
- Help design departmental practices and tools, develop contingency plans, and suggest system and process enhancements.
