Requirements

  • 8+ years of project or program management experience in M&A, corporate development, consulting, financial services, enterprise technology, operations, or similarly complex environments.
  • Prior experience leading an M&A project.
  • Experience leading or supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or other high-visibility cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience managing projects involving multiple systems, functions, vendors, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities.
  • Ability to build alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining complex topics clearly to executives, teams, and external partners.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when managing sensitive or confidential initiatives.
  • Experience recovering or stabilizing challenged projects or programs and navigating ambiguity during organizational change.
  • Experience with due diligence coordination, integration planning, and post-close execution is preferred.
  • Experience with change management, process improvement, or operational integration is preferred.
  • PMP or related project management certification is welcome but not required.
  • Travel up to 35% as required by project needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management for mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, integrations, and other major cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Build and manage project plans, timelines, workstreams, milestones, dependencies, and decision logs across multiple initiatives.
  • Coordinate teams across finance, legal, HR, product, engineering, operations, security, leadership, and external partners.
  • Support due diligence by organizing data requests, tracking open items, and coordinating stakeholders.
  • Drive integration planning and execution, including readiness activities, dependency management, and post-close follow-through.
  • Identify risks, blockers, dependencies, and key decision points, and develop resolution strategies.
  • Facilitate executive-level communications, status reporting, governance meetings, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage competing priorities and maintain visibility into project health while driving accountability across teams.
  • Improve internal M&A processes, integration playbooks, and operational best practices.
  • Travel up to 35% as required by project needs.
