Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of enterprise sales or business development experience selling healthcare, employer benefits, or closely related solutions in the self-funded healthcare market.
- Demonstrate success developing relationships with regional and national third-party administrators.
- Understand the TPA sales landscape.
- Have a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals while managing complex, consultative sales cycles.
- Understand third-party administration, self-funded employer health plans, and the operational challenges facing TPAs.
- Bring communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive relationship-building skills.
- Be able to manage a territory independently, prioritize opportunities, and drive results.
- Handle sensitive information confidentially and with discretion.
- Be US based and able to comply with company policies such as HIPAA.
- Travel up to 50% to meet prospective clients, partners, and industry organizations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory plan to grow Valenz Health's presence in the TPA marketplace.
- Build relationships with executive leaders and key decision-makers at regional and national TPAs.
- Manage consultative sales from prospecting through close, including identifying needs, presenting solutions, and negotiating agreements.
- Meet or exceed revenue goals and identify opportunities to expand existing TPA partnerships.
- Explain the Valenz Health platform, its competitive differentiators, and its business impact.
- Represent Valenz Health at industry conferences, association meetings, and networking events.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Client Success, Operations, and executive leadership on sales strategies and partner implementations.
- Maintain CRM pipeline activity, forecasts, and opportunity records, and report territory performance and market insights.
