Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and relevant experience using React.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with SQL.
- Strong understanding of web application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools and processes.
- Availability for meetings Monday through Thursday between 8am and 12pm Eastern.
- Preferred: experience with NextJS and/or TanStack.
- Preferred: experience with Django.
- Preferred: familiarity with PostgreSQL.
- Preferred: mobile development experience using React Native.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain public and internal web and backend applications using JavaScript, Python, SQL, React, NextJS, TanStack, NodeJS, and Django.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Complete medium to large features independently without guidance.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code that adheres to best practices.
- Identify and drive changes across product areas.
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
- Participate in code and design reviews to support coding standards and product quality.
- Provide strategic insight and technical guidance on codebase architecture as product features scale.
