Requirements
- Have 10 or more years of experience in project management, account management or client services.
- Have at least two to three years of direct experience managing and developing people.
- Demonstrate success leading teams that deliver complex, multi-stakeholder client projects on time and within budget.
- Bring deep knowledge of client management best practices and sound judgment about when to standardize or adapt.
- Have designed and implemented processes and workflows that improve efficiency and quality.
- Have hands-on experience with workflow and project management platforms such as Monday.com, including boards, automations and reporting.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging senior client stakeholders and internal executives.
- Demonstrate organizational, attention-to-detail, problem-solving and time-management skills, including meeting deadlines across competing priorities.
- Be able to advocate for a team while holding it to a high standard and work in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.
- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of six account managers through one-on-ones, goal setting, performance reviews and career development planning.
- Hire, onboard and train account managers, and establish expectations, competency standards and career paths.
- Balance team workload and resourcing, surface capacity concerns and remove roadblocks.
- Oversee agency client relationships and directly manage selected high-visibility and revenue accounts.
- Set client management practices for communication cadence, status reporting, escalations and documentation.
- Support complex, high-visibility or at-risk accounts through issue resolution and direct client engagement.
- Own and refine project management standards, intake processes and workflows to ensure projects are scoped, scheduled, resourced and delivered on time and within budget.
- Maximize adoption and capability of the project management platform, including Monday.com, through reporting and automation.
- Partner with Creative, Operations, Consulting, Client Service and Implementation teams to improve coordination and delivery.
- Identify, pilot and scale AI and emerging tools for project and account management, and lead adoption of improvements.
