Job Details

Experience shipping and maintaining production web applications or services.
Strong software design fundamentals.
Strong programming skills in a modern language such as Python or TypeScript.
Experience with APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, or distributed backend systems, including building reliable APIs and services.
Experience with document-processing workflows.
Experience integrating AI or LLM capabilities into production systems.
A practical approach to testing, code review, debugging, and improving systems after launch.
Clear written communication, ownership, and ability to collaborate with a distributed, cross-functional team.
Frontend development, complex data or security needs, legal technology, workflow automation, or related experience is useful.

Build reliable APIs, backend services, and document-processing workflows for research, drafting, review, and finished work.
Deliver core product features from technical design through release and iteration, collaborating with engineers and legal experts.
Integrate AI capabilities into practical workflows, focusing on quality, speed, and dependable behavior.
Improve interfaces for complex document tasks and work across the stack to make them easier to use.
Translate user needs into engineering plans and communicate tradeoffs behind technical decisions.
Improve performance, investigate production issues, and strengthen testing, monitoring, and code quality.
