Requirements
- Have 3–5 years of hands-on experience working with Workday Absence and Time Tracking.
- Bring a strong understanding of global time-tracking requirements and leave/absence policy design.
- Have experience configuring Workday Time and Absence functionality, including complex accrual rules, validations, schedules, approvals, and time-entry processes.
- Have experience participating in testing, UAT, implementation, and go-live activities.
- Understand how HR and payroll business requirements translate into Workday configuration.
- Bring strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to investigate configuration issues and develop practical solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with HR, Payroll, People Technology, and IT stakeholders.
- Manage multiple priorities in a remote, project-based environment and adapt to evolving policies, system requirements, and Workday functionality.
- Workday certification in Absence and/or Time Tracking is preferred.
- Experience supporting integrations between Time and Absence and payroll or scheduling systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of Workday Absence and Time Tracking plans and related global projects.
- Gather business requirements from HR and Payroll stakeholders and translate them into Workday configurations.
- Configure time-off and absence plans, accrual rules, time-tracking rules, validations, work schedules, calendars, time entry, approvals, and exceptions.
- Support configuration changes through testing, user acceptance testing, and go-live readiness.
- Troubleshoot Workday Absence and Time Tracking configuration issues.
- Analyze system behavior and recommend configuration improvements aligned with business policies and operational requirements.
- Provide guidance on Workday releases and support adoption of relevant new functionality.
- Support reporting, compliance, and audit requirements related to Time and Absence.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, People Technology, and IT stakeholders.
