Requirements
- Have owned a mature, complicated product with an established customer base.
- Have worked directly with enterprise customers through discovery calls, pilots, and advisory relationships.
- Have translated complex customer or market needs into work Engineering could build.
- Have followed product work through to understand what happened after delivery.
- Have made a complex product simpler, more consistent, or easier to reason about.
- Use AI as a normal part of product work, including discovery, synthesis, competitive research, epic drafting, or documentation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an accurate model of how the product works as new information emerges.
- Keep a visible roadmap with a rationale, an owner, and clear decisions about what the product will and will not do.
- Turn signals such as support tickets, sales requests, and customer complaints into actionable decisions.
- Hold direct conversations with enterprise customers, including when the answer is no.
- Translate product direction into work Engineering can build and verify.
- Inform Sales, Support, Customer Success, Services, and Marketing what changed and why.
