- Bring experience executing and building new things, potentially from national security, management consulting, or a high-growth startup.
- Be comfortable with recruiting and building strong teams.
- Have experience scaling commercial and business operations and supporting new business growth.
- Take responsibility for outcomes and work autonomously.
- Use judgment to identify the right problems and operate with ambiguity.
- Move quickly and build processes and tools that help others work efficiently.
- Be comfortable designing AI agents for ongoing business processes.
- Have strong cross-functional project execution skills.
- Be able to build credibility quickly with senior leaders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with mission and engineering leaders to build a system for managing customer delivery obligations.
- Work with finance and engineering to understand cost structure and identify opportunities to improve customer delivery and business performance.
- Build and tailor tools, processes, and AI agents to address prioritized business problems across functions.
- Design business systems so other functions can operate them or they can run without ongoing involvement.
- Prioritize specialized and senior roles and develop hiring plans with senior leadership.
- Partner with recruiting to execute hiring plans and support new hires’ success.
- Develop the business and delivery model for a high-growth customer or mission area.
- Own special projects such as analyzing strategic investments, tracking strategic goals, or improving broken processes.
