Requirements
- Have 5+ years owning an outcome in product management, implementation or solutions consulting, technical program management, support engineering, developer experience, or technical enablement.
- Have demonstrated experience automating your own work.
- Be comfortable using Git, a command line, and a codebase you did not write.
- Have practical experience shipping something real with an LLM, including evaluating its output and catching errors.
- Have direct exposure to customers in difficulty through implementation, support escalation, solution consulting, professional services, or training.
- Be able to learn a complex product without a specification and retain awareness of what was confusing during the learning process.
- Be able to influence product managers and engineers you do not manage.
- Be comfortable prioritizing and saying no when managing a large documentation surface.
- MadCap Flare experience is beneficial.
- Experience with docs-as-code or CI-driven publishing is beneficial.
- Deep familiarity with at least one complex enterprise system, such as an ERP or accounting platform, is preferred.
- B2B fintech, payments, or accounts receivable exposure is beneficial.
- Experience building an internal tool that others depend on is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Own in-product Help, implementation guides, support runbooks, and release notes across the platform and embedded applications.
- Decide what documentation to create, rewrite, or retire, and build information architecture around customer needs.
- Define and own documentation metrics, including release coverage, page freshness, unsuccessful Help searches, and support volume on covered topics.
- Design and build an AI-assisted documentation pipeline using tickets, pull requests, release artifacts, and recorded demos as source material.
- Build evaluation processes to detect convincing but incorrect generated content before publication.
- Automate change detection, terminology and style enforcement, screenshot capture, and publishing.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to capture how features work, including navigation, permissions, configuration, error states, and impact on existing users.
- Establish terminology and style standards across four ERP surfaces.
- Design documentation detection and revalidation processes for changing ERP interfaces, and own the related SLA.
- Use the products to understand their behavior and write content such as migration guides, error taxonomies, and integration behavior.
