Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of professional project management experience, including 3+ years focused on ERP implementations or comparable enterprise systems.
  • Proven experience delivering full-cycle ERP implementations from discovery through go-live and hypercare.
  • Experience with at least one major ERP platform, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SYSPRO, Infor, Epicor, or Sage.
  • Strong knowledge of PMBOK, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Experience managing stakeholders and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Consulting services experience in a Big 4, mid-market, or boutique ERP consulting environment is preferred.
  • SYSPRO ERP implementation experience is strongly preferred.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or another relevant project management certification is an advantage.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, or related industry environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SQL, data migration tools, integration platforms such as Boomi or MuleSoft, AI platforms, and reporting tools is beneficial.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client sites as required, typically 10–20%.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans and work breakdown structures covering scope, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead ERP implementations from discovery and requirements gathering through testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Liaise with executive sponsors, steering committees, client project managers, department heads, IT teams, and software vendors.
  • Identify project roadblocks and establish mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate functional consultants, technical developers, data migration specialists, QA resources, and other contributors.
  • Facilitate client workshops, project status meetings, and executive steering committee updates.
  • Contribute to statements of work and ensure adherence to project governance, change management, and implementation best practices.
  • Oversee system integration, testing, training, data migration, and go-live support activities.
  • Establish post-go-live hypercare and coordinate transitions to ongoing support teams.
  • Manage ongoing account relationships after implementation, monitoring account health and identifying service, upsell, and renewal opportunities.
