Requirements

  • Have 7-10 years of experience in systems deployment, DevSecOps, or platform engineering in regulated or classified government environments.
  • Demonstrate ownership of complex, mission-critical deployments.
  • Have hands-on experience deploying and hardening workloads across AWS GovCloud or Commercial, Microsoft Azure Government, and Google Cloud.
  • Have Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or an equivalent tool, including work tailored to DoD Impact Levels 2-6 and JWICS environments.
  • Have expertise securing Kubernetes, OpenShift, or equivalent container platforms, including image hardening, admission controls, network policies, and runtime security.
  • Have experience implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting stacks such as ELK, Splunk, or Prometheus/Grafana.
  • Have expert-level Linux server administration proficiency, including Talos or Red Hat, and experience deploying and maintaining Kubernetes on cloud platforms and varied compute hardware.
  • Have experience mentoring engineers, leading technical design reviews, or serving as a technical lead on customer-facing engagements.
  • Have scripting and automation ability in Go, Rust, Python, or Bash, and experience building internal tooling.
  • Hold an active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance or be eligible for one; active clearance is strongly preferred.
  • Be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end technical delivery for complex government and defense engagements, including architecting, deploying, and sustaining Game Warden and integrated customer workloads.
  • Make architectural and risk-tradeoff decisions and serve as the senior technical escalation point and primary customer-facing authority.
  • Lead and mentor Forward Deployed and DevSecOps Engineers, review designs, and establish technical standards and playbooks.
  • Deploy and harden secure Kubernetes-based infrastructure across customer cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Translate field experience and deployment challenges into product and platform improvements with Engineering and Product leadership.
  • Drive accreditation and continuous ATO outcomes with the security and compliance team, producing and validating evidence against applicable controls.
  • Own remediation of findings from third-party assessments and penetration tests.
  • Maintain configuration management, security documentation, and audit-ready evidence, and support customer security reviews and audits.
  • Travel to client locations for deployments, updates, troubleshooting, exercises, integration, and training.
