Requirements
- Think like a Product Manager, focusing on user problems, value-versus-effort prioritization, user experience, and shipping MVPs quickly.
- Be comfortable working hands-on with data and automation.
- Use SQL, Python or similar, APIs, workflow tools, or low-code environments to build working prototypes.
- Experiment with AI and large language models to automate tasks and improve workflows.
- Understand fundamental risk concepts, including control design, RCSAs, and issue management.
- Be comfortable working from first principles and handling ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Have experience leading teams through change programmes; experience in Financial Services Controls functions is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define the vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog for Monzo’s internal risk products.
- Design, prototype, and build automated workflows, API integrations, and low-code/no-code solutions.
- Experiment with LLM prompting, custom agents, and automated evidence-gathering tools for risk management.
- Design data triggers that support continuous monitoring and alert risk owners in real time.
- Work with first-line risk owners and Risk Partners to deliver guidance, UI/UX workflows, and enablement.
- Guide two data and automation specialists, maintain delivery momentum, engage senior stakeholders, and remove blockers.
