Requirements
- Have 3+ years of engineering management experience.
- Have led teams of 6–10+ engineers working on customer-facing products.
- Have a track record running growth or conversion programs using metrics, A/B testing at scale, and funnel analysis.
- Have experience scaling a product for enterprise or multi-location customers.
- Demonstrate strong prioritization and the ability to make clear roadmap trade-offs.
- Bring technical credibility in full-stack web development, including React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Have experience with data-heavy systems.
- Care about team health and have led people through heavy or repetitive workloads.
- Partner effectively with product management, design, and adjacent teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of full-stack engineers building the guest web ordering experience, including menus, carts, checkout, and promotions.
- Build an experimentation engine across checkout, fulfillment, merchandising, and promotions to improve guest conversion.
- Expand OLO for enterprise and multi-location brands, addressing their reliability and menu complexity needs.
- Improve menu quality across merchant-written and POS-integrated menus, and build systems to keep live menus optimized.
- Scale photo coverage using guest sourcing, auto-replating, licensed catalogs, and generated combo images, with measured GPV lift.
- Rebuild promotions, including redemption UX, badges, auto-apply, and merchandising.
- Reduce fulfillment selection errors and complete the PostgreSQL migration.
