Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of relevant professional programming experience as a full-stack software engineer.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency with C#/.NET, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes, SQL Server, OpenAPI, Apigee, and GCP.
  • Have experience developing and supporting cloud-based applications.
  • Have experience with technologies such as Datadog and GitLab.
  • Understand SaaS application development, automated testing, software quality, and modern engineering practices.
  • Have experience in Agile environments, particularly Scrum or Kanban, and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Be able to use AI and automation in software development workflows.
  • Bring architectural thinking, troubleshooting, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Have experience conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
  • Be able to guide and support software engineers with technical problem-solving.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in startup environments or the insurance industry is a plus; accounting, General Ledger, reconciliation, Node.js, and payment technology experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable cloud-native software using C#/.NET, React, TypeScript, and related technologies.
  • Build and enhance accounting, financial management, and reconciliation applications.
  • Architect systems for performance, reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Develop and deploy applications using Google Cloud Platform and other cloud-native technologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams throughout planning, development, testing, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Lead and contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
  • Apply AI-assisted development and automation to reduce repetitive work and improve delivery.
  • Review code and provide constructive technical feedback.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues across the application stack.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to improvements in development practices, automation, and software quality.
