Requirements
- Have 7 or more years of professional software development experience, or equivalent demonstrated experience building and supporting complex production business applications.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and modern full-stack web application development.
- Have proven ability to design, build, and support REST APIs and integrations with third-party business systems.
- Be proficient with SQL, relational database design, data modeling, indexes, keys, query optimization, and database troubleshooting.
- Have experience building and supporting business-critical transactional or operational applications where data accuracy, reliability, and auditability matter.
- Be able to translate business processes and requirements into reliable software solutions and independently own delivery through release and support.
- Have knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, identity management, and secure development practices.
- Have experience deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting cloud-hosted applications and CI/CD pipelines.
- Be able to use AI-assisted development tools while independently understanding, reviewing, troubleshooting, and writing production code.
- Blazor Server is strongly preferred; experience with comparable component-based web application frameworks is also considered.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience, is listed as a nice-to-have.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support software applications using C#, .NET 10, ASP.NET Core, Blazor Server, Radzen, and related technologies.
- Build staff- and customer-facing interfaces, application services, business logic, background processing, and data-access functionality.
- Translate business processes into automated workflows for grantmaking, marketing, lead management, sales, billing, payments, fulfillment, customer service, and reporting.
- Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot secure integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, file exchanges, and other system-to-system methods.
- Design, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize PostgreSQL and other databases, and support financial and operational workflows.
- Develop and maintain authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls, including Microsoft Entra ID capabilities used by applications.
- Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and support applications and services within Microsoft Azure, and maintain CI/CD processes.
- Investigate production incidents, develop automated tests, review code, and maintain technical documentation.
- Use AI-assisted development tools within approved security and data-handling requirements, and independently verify generated work before release.
