Job Details

Have independently owned and operated IT for an organization of 200+ staff.
Have managed identity using Okta, Google Workspace, and Slack.
Have operated an unattended, HRIS-driven employee lifecycle.
Have owned a production Mac fleet under MDM, including a migration or baseline rebuild.
Have administered ChatGPT and Claude, or comparable platforms, for a company and use them daily.
Have built automations that replaced manual IT work with measurable results.
Be able to automate using scripts, APIs, logs, and admin consoles, including entire request categories.
Have practical security judgment and experience working in a SOC 2 environment.
Provide direct employee support and be able to cite support metrics.
Write documentation people follow and explain technical decisions to executives concisely.
Live on the US East or West Coast and be able to travel to San Francisco.
Bonus: experience with AWS IAM Identity Center and Terraform or other configuration-as-code; office buildouts, BYOD policies, international contractors, Windows, or ChromeOS.

Own identity and the employee lifecycle across Okta, Google Workspace, and an HRIS-driven access pipeline with an audit trail.
Operate the Mac-first MDM fleet, maintain near-100% coverage, and support passwordless authentication and security incident response.
Run onboarding, offboarding, support, AI triage, and self-service IT operations end to end.
Govern the 50+ tool SaaS stack, IT budget, and vendors.
Apply governance to Claude and ChatGPT accounts and use AI and automation to reduce manual IT work.
Keep IT-owned SOC 2 controls audit-ready with evidence generated by systems.
