Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Human Resources, English, Business, or a related field, or have equivalent professional experience.
- Have 4–7 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, employee communications, organizational communications, or public relations.
- Demonstrate strong written, verbal, editing, proofreading, and presentation skills, including the ability to create executive-level communications.
- Have experience communicating organizational change and helping employees understand initiatives, processes, policies, or priorities.
- Bring project management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality across multiple communication channels.
- Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and audiences.
- Complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies aligned with organizational priorities, culture, and growth.
- Own companywide communications, including leadership updates, announcements, newsletters, and organizational initiatives.
- Draft executive communications, including announcements, speeches, presentations, talking points, business updates, video scripts, and town-hall materials.
- Partner with senior leaders on communications about strategic initiatives, organizational changes, milestones, and major announcements.
- Develop communication plans for organizational changes, programs, policies, processes, and business initiatives.
- Manage corporate social media and external content, using engagement metrics to improve content strategy.
- Manage internal communication platforms, including intranet, Teams, SharePoint, and newsletters, and develop calendars, templates, and communication standards.
- Measure communication effectiveness through engagement data and employee feedback and recommend improvements.
- Travel to project sites as needed to connect with employees, gather stories, and strengthen communication between corporate and field teams.
