Requirements

  • Typically 10+ years in product management.
  • At least 3 years managing Product Managers directly.
  • Track record of shipping and scaling B2B products end to end, with demonstrable commercial impact.
  • Experience hiring, coaching and managing the performance of Product Managers.
  • Hands-on exposure to the data ecosystem sufficient to make credible technical trade-off calls.
  • Ability to balance product craft, speed and commercial impact across multiple workstreams.
  • Deep data literacy and ability to hold a team accountable to evidence-based decision-making.
  • Demonstrable track record of using AI tools to accelerate product work, and ability to model and teach their use.
  • Excellent communication, including credibility with executive leadership and senior customers.
  • Ability to maintain product quality and team standards under commercial pressure while working strategically and hands-on.

Responsibilities

  • Define product-area strategy and translate company and product strategy into a multi-quarter roadmap.
  • Prioritise and resource multiple workstreams, with accountability for the commercial outcome of the portfolio.
  • Retain direct product ownership by writing specifications, running discovery and making product decisions.
  • Define and enforce product quality standards, review team decisions and outputs, and raise concerns when capabilities are not ready to ship.
  • Maintain a view of user needs across data engineering, analytics and platform personas, and own the competitive and market view of the data and AI ecosystem.
  • Hire, coach and manage Product Managers, run the team's operating rhythm, and set standards for AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design leadership on technical strategy and delivery capacity.
  • Keep GTM, Customer Success and Marketing informed about upcoming releases.
  • Present roadmap and trade-offs to stakeholders, leadership and customers.
