Requirements

  • Have experience managing corporate partnerships, client accounts or comparable commercial relationships, with demonstrable income responsibility.
  • Show a track record of stewarding, renewing and growing significant relationships.
  • Have experience influencing and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels, including senior decision-makers.
  • Have experience developing partnership plans, proposals and pitches, and working within partnership agreements.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness of partnership income and deal structures.
  • Have experience managing an income and expenditure budget and reporting against it.
  • Have experience assessing partners for ethical fit and reputational risk.
  • Have working knowledge of a CRM and awareness of the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice and GDPR as they apply to corporate partnerships.
  • Be able to manage multiple partnerships and competing deadlines while maintaining accurate account, budget, forecasting and CRM records.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, including writing proposals and impact reports for corporate audiences.
  • Be willing to travel within the UK for partner meetings and occasional events.
  • Be willing to work full-time; flexible working requests may be discussed.

Responsibilities

  • Own a named portfolio of corporate partners, managing income, retention, renewals, growth, risks and overall relationship health.
  • Write and run account plans for priority partners and identify opportunities for upselling, multi-year commitments and deeper engagement.
  • Lead renewal conversations and secure extensions and multi-year commitments.
  • Forecast portfolio income, maintain the CRM and identify at-risk accounts.
  • Manage the portfolio income and expenditure budget, plan spending and report against budget.
  • Line-manage and develop the Partnerships Officer/Executive through objectives, feedback, coaching and training.
  • Build relationships across partner organisations, including with senior decision-makers and internal champions.
  • Conduct ethical and reputational due diligence on new and renewing partners and take findings through sign-off.
  • Coordinate employee engagement, fundraising, communications, advocacy and partner fundraising products with colleagues.
  • Represent Cool Earth in partner meetings and events, gather feedback and share partner insight across the organisation.
