Requirements
- Bring at least 5 years of successful strategic key account management experience within pharmaceutical or medical sales.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or have an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Demonstrate a strong track record of delivering sales results through a patient-centric commercial approach.
- Have experience promoting specialty or buy-and-bill products across diverse sites of care.
- Experience in pain management, specialty pharmaceutical launches, or biologics is preferred.
- Have familiarity with buy-and-bill products, Specialty Pharmacy, and HUB services.
- Understand the needs and priorities of healthcare stakeholders, including key opinion leaders, payors, healthcare providers, and executive decision-makers.
- Be willing and able to travel throughout the assigned territory and attend company-sponsored meetings, conferences, and events.
- Live and work within the assigned territory.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans aligned with business objectives and KPIs.
- Use CRM systems, data analytics, and organizational tools to identify opportunities and improve sales effectiveness.
- Build and maintain relationships with C-suite and executive stakeholders across multiple sites.
- Support product access, healthcare professional education, and application training for providers and staff.
- Establish partnerships with key customers, staff, and national or regional external experts.
- Expand networks across specialties including endocrinology, pain management, podiatry, and neurology.
- Identify and address account and territory obstacles.
- Develop clinical and market expertise in pain management and share insights with peers and cross-functional partners.
- Ensure activities align with applicable regulations, policies, and industry standards.
