Requirements
- Have 1–5 years of sales engineering experience, preferably in a software or data center environment.
- Bring foundational technical knowledge of cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Bring business acumen and experience working with CxO-level personnel to address business challenges with technology solutions.
- Be able to handle multiple calls and demonstrations per day with immediate follow-up.
- Be located in the North East.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in support of pre-sales activities.
- Assist with the analysis, design, and development of integrated technology solutions.
- Demonstrate expertise in Rubrik products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competing SAN storage offerings.
- Develop and propose solutions that meet customers’ technology and business requirements.
- Deliver technical and sales presentations and demonstrations to channel partners and customers.
- Advise customers on technology and serve as an internal resource on technical issues and business applications.
- Build relationships with account teams, partners, and customers, and engage corporate resources as appropriate.
- Lead technical sales calls and qualify opportunities based on technical requirements, competition, decision-making processes, and funding.
