Requirements
- Have 5+ years of professional work experience in Compliance Testing or Audit.
- Know applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact Affirm’s business.
- Have experience completing end-to-end compliance testing activities.
- Demonstrate project management, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Have strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Be able to clearly present complex and sensitive issues verbally and in writing.
- Be proficient with Google Docs and common word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
- Be detail-oriented, thorough, and well organized.
- Be proactive and inquisitive in proposing solutions and adapting in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing compliance testing and report on adherence to the compliance program and federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Work cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Product, and other departments while completing reviews.
- Complete diligent, detailed work product while supporting a fast-paced business with tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with management to identify process improvements or propose new processes that strengthen internal controls.
- Coordinate execution of the compliance risk assessment and control inventory, including collecting and documenting results.
- Advise on regulatory compliance as it applies to new or revised products and services.
- Continuously improve internal processes relating to the Compliance Testing Program.
