Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Have 1–4 years of experience in software engineering, product engineering, or full-stack application development.
- Demonstrate proficiency using Claude Code to develop functional software products, implement features, debug code, and validate results.
- Be proficient in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or comparable programming languages.
- Have experience developing frontend components, backend services, and APIs.
- Have hands-on experience integrating LLMs into applications through APIs, prompt engineering, AI agents, generative AI workflows, or retrieval augmented generation (RAG).
- Be able to review AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, and test coverage.
- Be able to work independently and contribute in a remote Agile environment.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines is an additional qualification.
- Familiarity with Cursor, Codex, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, or AI orchestration frameworks is an additional qualification.
- Experience developing deployed AI applications or supporting healthcare, payer/provider, federal government, or Department of Veterans Affairs technology initiatives is an additional qualification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance, including required fingerprinting, when required for the position.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI-powered features for patient engagement, care coordination, claims management, and operational efficiency.
- Use Claude Code and related AI development tools to build, test, troubleshoot, and maintain full-stack software products.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and clinical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, user-focused solutions.
- Develop APIs, backend services, automation pipelines, and LLM integrations.
- Apply software engineering, DevOps, and MLOps practices to testing, deployment, monitoring, security, and performance optimization.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and implementation approaches to improve product functionality and engineering workflows.
