Have 4+ years of experience managing engineers, including senior and staff engineers.
Have experience hiring and developing engineers.
Have 8+ years of software engineering experience.
Be able to review designs and challenge the team's technical approach.
Have hands-on experience with Python.
Have experience delivering software in real client environments.
Have taken something from zero to one, such as a team, practice, or hiring process.
Be curious about agents, evaluations, and multi-agent systems.
Understand where AI systems are reliable and where human oversight is needed.
Be fluent with AI coding tools.
Bonus: Have management experience in consulting, services, or a forward deployed engineering organization.

Give engineers direct, actionable feedback and develop senior engineers into tech leads.
Set clear priorities and expectations without adding process before the problem is understood.
Review architecture, agent, prompt, and evaluation design.
Step into difficult technical and client situations, including production regressions and unclear requirements, and make decisions.
Raise technical or delivery risks early.
Identify patterns across engagements and turn them into standing practices, reference implementations, and platform capabilities.
Plan staffing across engagements, manage transitions, and flag risks before they reach clients.
Run team hiring from sourcing through onboarding and define the hiring bar.
Work with product, client partners, and client stakeholders to deliver engagements.
