Requirements
- Bring 10+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial experience in product engineering and platform or SRE environments.
- Have expert-level React and TypeScript experience for frontend development.
- Have deep experience building distributed backend systems using Go, Python, or TypeScript.
- Have architectural and hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.
- Have infrastructure-as-code experience using Terraform.
- Have strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Have experience building CI/CD workflows with tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Be able to design scalable, resilient, and observable distributed systems.
- Have practical expertise in monitoring, tracing, testing, and operational excellence.
- Be familiar with technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger.
- Bring a product mindset and experience working with Product and Design teams.
- Be comfortable working in a greenfield, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and delivery for digital product initiatives through hands-on development.
- Design and build full-stack solutions across frontend applications, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
- Develop the engineering platform, including CI/CD workflows, Kubernetes infrastructure, infrastructure as code, observability, and developer tooling.
- Create reusable technical foundations that help engineers build, deploy, and operate software independently.
- Turn successful technical patterns into shared services, frameworks, libraries, tooling, and architectural standards.
- Reduce development lifecycle friction through automation, standardization, and platform design.
- Design scalable, resilient, observable, and maintainable systems aligned with customer and business needs.
- Partner with Product, Design, and engineering teams to translate user needs into solutions.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical direction and engineering practices.
- Establish operational practices for monitoring, tracing, testing, and reliability.
