Requirements
- Have 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, construction coordination, project administration, franchise development or operations, or multi-unit expansion projects.
- Have knowledge of project coordination principles, workflows, documentation standards, and best practices.
- Be able to coordinate schedules, meetings, activities, milestones, and deliverables across cross-functional teams.
- Be proficient with project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar platforms.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Be able to track timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Be able to interpret construction plans, specifications, project requirements, and related documentation.
- Understand franchise or multi-unit development processes, including compliance requirements and brand standards.
- Have basic knowledge of project budgeting, invoicing, and cost tracking.
- Have strong organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, and adaptability.
- Be willing and able to travel regularly throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia to visit centers being built or remodeled.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the franchisee integration and store build-out lifecycle from design and construction through pre-opening and operational handoff.
- Partner with design teams to ensure store layouts and plans align with brand standards, project requirements, and local regulations.
- Monitor construction progress, timelines, milestones, and deliverables with construction management vendors and external partners.
- Coordinate procurement, delivery, and installation of fixtures, equipment, signage, and technology.
- Manage franchisee onboarding schedules and coordinate deliverables across business functions.
- Maintain project trackers and documentation covering milestones, deadlines, ownership, status, risks, and deliverables.
- Prepare dashboards, status reports, and project updates for leadership and stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings and milestone reviews, communicating project health, risks, dependencies, and next steps.
- Identify and manage project risks, escalate challenges, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Confirm departmental approvals and readiness activities, support openings, and facilitate the transition into Retail Operations.
