Requirements
- Have at least 1.5 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Have experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems.
- Be proficient in Python or Kotlin.
- Be familiar with distributed systems building blocks.
- Be familiar with AWS, Kafka, Flink, and Kubernetes.
- Be able to design solutions spanning multiple software components and write clear, well-tested, extensible code.
- Be comfortable navigating large codebases, debugging other engineers’ code, and providing code review feedback.
- Have a related bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Identify and execute new use cases for data infrastructure.
- Design and scale infrastructure for event-driven architecture and stream processing.
- Break larger projects into tasks, deliver them in phases, and collaborate to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during ideation and technical decision-making.
- Create and monitor metrics for team artifacts, escalating issues when needed.
- Support operational availability, keep-the-lights-on work, and on-call efforts.
- Participate in interview and team growth activities.
