Requirements
- Have 7–10+ years of Python experience and proficiency building REST APIs with Django/Django REST Framework.
- Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Bring strong software design and architecture skills, including experience designing scalable microservices and applying MVC, OOPS, and design patterns.
- Have a solid background in generative AI integrations, REST/gRPC LLM services, AI agents, and RAG pipelines.
- Have hands-on experience with AWS and AWS GovCloud, including ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, and multi-tenant architectures.
- Be proficient in enterprise and federal identity and authentication standards, including SAML, OAuth, PIV/CAC, FICAM, and RBAC, and secure coding principles aligned with FedRAMP/GovRAMP controls.
- Have practical knowledge of PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse, MongoDB, Redis, Memcached, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
- Have experience with unit testing, debugging, test automation, CI/CD, Git/GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understand Django scheduling or event-driven programming, Python threading limitations, and multi-process architecture.
- Have experience building scalable products from scratch; experience with search-heavy, data-intensive, or AI-powered products is a plus.
- Have strong proficiency in data structures and algorithms and a good understanding of server-side templating languages.
Responsibilities
- Develop features from proposal through delivery, accounting for enterprise scale and high-security compliance constraints.
- Build code that meets FedRAMP and GovRAMP control requirements, including secure coding, audit logging, RBAC, and encryption in transit and at rest.
- Manage and review team code for enterprise and regulatory security standards, maintainability, and ease of contribution.
- Partner with DevOps and GRC to deploy features through CI/CD pipelines across commercial and GovCloud environments.
- Improve the software to address developer pain points.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to maintain and support production and operations of Cyware products across commercial and GovCloud environments.
