Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven professional experience in software test automation, preferably focused on UI testing.
- Strong programming capabilities in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or TestCafe.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and user-centered design practices.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and experience with technologies such as Jenkins and Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills for working with developers, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is desirable.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing and standards such as WCAG is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively remotely and participate in occasional travel for team or company-sponsored events.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate user interface functionality and product behavior.
- Partner with UX designers and software engineers to understand requirements, identify quality risks, and establish test coverage.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover usability issues and unexpected behaviors.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback on code and product changes.
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, identify root causes, and communicate findings to development teams.
- Improve QA processes, testing methodologies, automation practices, and quality standards.
- Stay current with test automation technologies, frameworks, and UX testing practices.
- Collaborate across technical and cross-functional teams to support reliable releases.
