Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience creating content focused on product design, product building, or technology.
- Have a strong portfolio of design-focused writing, such as articles, case studies, or interviews.
- Bring a deep understanding of design processes, terminology, culture, and tools, including Figma.
- Have experience interviewing designers and technical stakeholders.
- Have a strong understanding of design tools and workflows.
- Demonstrate strong editorial judgment and a distinctive writing voice.
- Be actively engaged with trends and conversations in the design community.
Responsibilities
- Create content showcasing product design and development processes, methodologies, and thinking.
- Develop narratives about new product features, highlighting design decisions and the user problems being solved.
- Interview designers, researchers, and product managers, and translate technical design concepts into engaging stories for different audience segments.
- Contribute thought leadership on design trends, tools, and methodologies through engagement with the product design community.
- Create case studies highlighting innovative design and product work and workflows.
- Partner with product teams to document and share design processes.
- Maintain an authentic design voice across content platforms.
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to integrate stories into the content strategy.
