Demonstrated success in careers/outreach programming and event coordination.
Ability to manage administrative responsibilities for program execution, including scheduling, documentation, communication, reporting, and follow-up.
Strong familiarity with The Blue Star Careers Neighborhood community.
Familiarity with Google Suite, Canva, and Zoom.
Experience planning and executing events, including logistics and project management.
Ability to build relationships with military families, local community members, and key stakeholders.
Maintain an active Blue Star Careers community profile in the Neighborhood.
Maintain an active LinkedIn profile.
Provide independent contractor services at approximately 30 hours per month through December 2027.

Develop a social media outreach strategy for social networks and the military community, and submit monthly progress summaries.
Support promotion of virtual events and Blue Star Careers program events.
Draft and contribute to marketing or communication materials tailored to the consultant’s service branch and audience.
Compile and submit weekly lists of verified career and readiness resources relevant to the military community.
Create articles, videos, or curated links for the Blue Star Families Community Neighborhood and Media Center.
Engage local employers, share insights on the strengths of the branch community, and report outreach results.
Encourage organic engagement in discussion forums and virtual groups related to the Blue Star Careers community.
Moderate and engage in the Spouseforce community on Facebook to direct traffic to the Neighborhood community.
Promote Blue Star Careers events on other Facebook communities and social networks.
