Requirements
- Have professional experience in front-office investment management, trading, portfolio management, investment operations, or a related implementation environment.
- Have experience working within a buy-side organization, broker-dealer, or technology/vendor implementation setting.
- Understand front-office workflows and the operational needs of traders, portfolio managers, or investment professionals.
- Be able to investigate unfamiliar workflows and understand their underlying business rationale.
- Be comfortable working in an evolving environment where processes and product capabilities may change frequently.
- Be able to independently own responsibilities while communicating proactively with teammates and stakeholders.
- Have strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Be able to receive direct feedback professionally, translate it into action, and communicate client needs constructively to internal teams.
- Have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly for time-sensitive implementation or go-live issues.
- Have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Experience in wealth management is a plus.
- Experience working in a smaller, rapidly growing organization is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Own front-office implementation workstreams from client discovery and requirements gathering through configuration, testing, go-live, and hypercare.
- Configure client environments by translating trading, portfolio-management, and other front-office workflows into system setups.
- Work with clients to understand operating models, uncover workflow requirements, and provide guidance and education.
- Partner with sales and delivery teams on active pipeline opportunities, including smaller, fast-turnaround engagements.
- Troubleshoot time-sensitive implementation and go-live issues, resolving problems independently when possible and escalating when needed.
- Maintain ownership of project deliverables and communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Capture client feedback and communicate relevant insights constructively to product teams.
- Share project knowledge, implementation learnings, and workflow expertise with colleagues.
- Contribute to improvements in implementation processes, configuration practices, and client delivery.
