Requirements
- Have 8+ years of integration consulting or implementation experience, including recent experience as an Integration Lead or in a comparable role.
- Have demonstrated experience leading the integration workstream of a Workday implementation.
- Bring hands-on expertise with Workday integration technologies, including EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect.
- Have experience leading integration developers and providing clear technical direction.
- Bring project management capabilities covering scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and client expectations.
- Be able to facilitate discovery sessions, explain technical concepts clearly, and build stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrate ownership and follow-through, with the ability to deliver high-quality work with limited oversight.
- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Workday integration certification is preferred.
- Experience with Workday HCM and Financials implementations is preferred.
- Experience supporting higher education ERP implementations is a plus.
- PeopleSoft-to-Workday transformation experience is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration workstream from discovery and planning through deployment and post-delivery issue resolution.
- Serve as the primary client-facing contact for integration priorities, risks, dependencies, scope, and delivery status.
- Provide technical direction to integration developers and contribute hands-on to design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Facilitate client discovery and integration design sessions and translate business requirements into Workday solutions.
- Oversee integration deliverables for timelines, quality, security, and technical practices.
- Manage integration scope and client expectations throughout the implementation.
- Coordinate with client stakeholders, functional leads, technical teams, vendors, and system integration partners.
- Identify, manage, and escalate integration risks and issues, developing alternative technical or functional approaches when needed.
- Review integration architectures, designs, and deliverables for quality, security, consistency, and alignment with project standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve integration processes, methodologies, and reusable solutions.
