Requirements
- Have 7+ years of experience in telecom operations, voice platforms, carrier management, network services, telecommunications migrations, or related disciplines.
- Have 3+ years of experience managing telecom vendors, carrier relationships, managed services providers, enterprise circuit portfolios, or UCaaS migrations.
- Bring experience managing telecom circuit inventories and lifecycle activities, including orders, disconnects, billing, escalations, and carrier coordination.
- Have experience planning and executing RingCentral or similar UCaaS platform migrations, including number porting, cutovers, and post-migration support.
- Know telecom carrier services, circuit technologies, voice service delivery, telecom lifecycle governance, and operational support models.
- Have experience managing managed services provider performance, service delivery, vendor governance, SLAs, and contract adherence.
- Understand budgeting, forecasting, invoice review, cost controls, savings identification, and telecom expense optimization.
- Have experience leading enterprise migrations, coordinating stakeholders, managing risks and dependencies, and supporting business continuity.
- Bring strong troubleshooting and escalation management experience with telephony, connectivity, call quality, circuits, and user experience issues.
- Have experience coordinating after-hours production cutovers and migration activities.
- Bring communication, documentation, planning, and executive reporting skills.
- Be able to manage at least one contractor supporting telecom migration and operational activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise telecommunications initiatives, including RingCentral migration activities, circuit transitions, carrier coordination, and ongoing telecom operations.
- Manage telecom circuit migrations across approximately 170 independent agencies, from planning and implementation through post-cutover support.
- Coordinate site readiness assessments, number porting, user migration planning, cutovers, issue resolution, and stabilization.
- Govern telecom vendor and managed services provider relationships, including service delivery, contract compliance, escalations, and performance.
- Standardize telecom inventories, operational controls, migration runbooks, service catalogs, and lifecycle processes.
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, Infrastructure, Security, Agency Operations, and the PMO on cost visibility, resource planning, migration readiness, and operational performance.
