Requirements
- Have 6+ years building production web applications.
- Have 3+ years of experience with Python and Django.
- Have working knowledge of data structures, concurrency, SQL, and system design.
- Write clearly and work asynchronously across time zones.
- Demonstrate self-direction and follow-through.
- Experience with DRF and/or django-ninja is a strong plus.
- Production experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, or Redis is a strong plus.
- Experience with Postgres tuning and query analysis is a strong plus.
- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS is a strong plus.
- Experience with Stripe, identity providers, or other third-party API integrations is a strong plus.
- Experience with HTMX or React is a strong plus.
- A background in consumer privacy or adjacent industries is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Build features in the Django backend powering the consumer dashboard and B2B platform.
- Develop APIs for the consumer dashboard and customer reporting.
- Improve performance and reliability in Celery and RabbitMQ pipelines.
- Integrate third-party services, including payment providers and identity providers such as Stripe and WorkOS SSO.
- Review code and participate in reviews with the backend team.
- Own features from implementation through production, investigating issues after release.
- Contribute to product and technical direction while working directly with the founders.
