Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in product management, as a co-founder, or in a related technical role.
- At least 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products that manage data pipelines, data models, or integration platforms.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders at large enterprises.
- Track record of shipping products with measurable results, ideally platform products that unblock multiple downstream product teams.
- Strong knowledge of data exchanges and integration patterns for major EHR players, including Epic, athena, and Cerner.
- Bonus: Technical background, such as a computer science degree, former engineering experience, or comfort reading system design documents and data model ERDs.
- Bonus: Healthcare revenue cycle management knowledge, including guarantors, patient responsibility, insurance adjudication, EOBs, and the billing lifecycle.
- Bonus: Experience establishing data governance frameworks and aligning engineering, operations, and client stakeholders.
- Bonus: Familiarity with event-driven architectures such as Kafka and gRPC, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Bonus: Experience leading platform migrations from legacy systems to modern service-oriented architectures while maintaining production reliability.
- Bonus: Familiarity with HIPAA data isolation requirements in multi-tenant healthcare platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own the Patient Data Platform from strategy through execution, identifying capability gaps, defining solutions, and driving delivery with engineering and integrations.
- Engage clients and EHR partners to understand upstream data workflows and translate them into platform requirements.
- Work across product engineering, integrations, payments, and communications teams to establish integration standards for multi-product and multi-provider scale.
- Define and evolve the normalized data model for clinical and financial entities and how they are linked and made available to product consumers and agentic workflows.
- Drive data governance standards, including data quality tracking, lineage, and contract definitions.
- Own the multi-quarter roadmap, sequencing platform investments against provider onboarding timelines and product launch dependencies.
- Co-own data and architecture decisions with technical leaders, translating product requirements into technical constraints and technical considerations into product decisions.
- Establish data quality frameworks and reliable, accurate data SLAs for go-lives.
- Define and track platform health and adoption metrics, including data accuracy and freshness SLAs, integration onboarding velocity, and incident reduction.
