Requirements
- Have a minimum of 5 years of product management experience with data or infrastructure products.
- Have experience hiring and managing product managers.
- Have a track record delivering data and analytical products and services used by multiple product teams.
- Bring expertise in data analytics, A/B testing, search, and data architecture.
- Understand modern techniques for handling high-scale data.
- Have knowledge of search technologies.
- Have experience navigating privacy issues around data collection, retention, and distribution.
- Be able to work with multiple stakeholder teams through lateral influence and collaboration.
- Be available for critical meetings and synchronous work between 15:00 UTC and 18:00 UTC.
- Be open to traveling internationally up to four times per year.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy, usefulness, reliability, and accessibility of data products.
- Define priorities and roadmaps for Data Platform Engineering teams across data engineering, search, experimentation, and site reliability.
- Manage the product lifecycle of Data Platform Engineering products, services, and tools.
- Co-develop product strategy and facilitate sound decisions.
- Manage and develop a team of product managers.
- Partner with user-facing product teams to use the data platform to guide product decisions and build derived-data products.
