Requirements
- Have strong experience in Operations QA/QC, control testing, transaction testing, or operational risk management within a bank or financial institution.
- Have experience reviewing operational processes and identifying errors, exceptions, control weaknesses, and process gaps.
- Be able to recommend ways to strengthen controls.
- Have strong analytical and MI/data analysis skills.
- Have experience producing QA/QC reports, dashboards, and trend analysis.
- Be able to challenge Operations constructively and maintain an independent control mindset.
- Be able to write clearly and contribute to written documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and quality control testing across operations to check that processes follow approved procedures.
- Perform sample-based testing and control checks to identify errors, control gaps, exceptions, and potential operational risks.
- Develop corrective action and remediation plans with operations teams and track issues to closure within agreed timelines.
- Own the Service guild controls attestation framework and support risk owners in first-line RCSA exercises.
- Develop QA/QC testing frameworks, control checklists, sampling methodologies, and quality standards.
- Produce regular QA/QC reporting and MI for Griffin-wide operational risk reporting.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, compliance, risk, and regulatory reviews, providing evidence of controls and remediation.
