Have 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Have at least 1-2 years in a lead or de facto lead capacity, owning a team's technical direction.
Have hands-on experience building consumer-facing web products at scale.
Have a track record of shipping AI-powered product features.
Have experience working directly with a PM on roadmap and feature definition.
Be comfortable serving as the primary escalation point for production issues in the product area.
Work with TypeScript and Node.js for the new system.
Work with PHP 7.4/8+ and Laravel for the existing system.
Work with MariaDB, Redis, AWS (EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, SQS, S3), Docker, and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
Use AI coding tools daily and review all code shipped by yourself and the team.

Own sprint planning, task breakdown, and prioritization for the Editor 2.0 team.
Unblock engineers on technical issues, ambiguous requirements, and cross-team dependencies.
Build critical-path features when the team is short-handed.
Set code review standards and make technical decisions for the team's scope.
Guide the editor's technical direction, including how AI features work within the product.
Propose and evaluate AI features for page building, such as generation, layout suggestions, content assistance, and personalization.
Write unit and integration tests as part of feature work.
Identify edge cases and risks during planning.
Respond to incidents and maintain production health for the editor.
Mentor the team and establish effective AI-assisted development workflows.
