Griffin is a fully regulated UK bank pioneering banking-as-a-service. We empower product-led fintechs like Uber and Sidekick to build and launch financial services fast. Our platform removes the complexity and cost of securing a banking partner. Since launching in 2024, we already process billions in payments. We are building the operating system for embedded finance, driving innovation across various sectors. You can access API-driven bank accounts, payment services, and compliance automation tools. We even offer a free sandbox environment for developers to build and test prototypes.

You will work from anywhere in the UK. You can also work from abroad for up to 20 days per year. Our strong culture ensures we remain mission-driven while scaling. Engineering at Griffin

Our platform is an OS for embedded finance, providing the banking backbone for fintech. We use a modern tech stack to process billions in payments. Our engineers collaborate on critical infrastructure for remittance, payroll, and insurance products. We are building our in-house core banking system, Banksy. We integrate new technologies like AI-assisted tooling and Python for data capabilities. You will work with DNSSEC, Cloudflare CDN, and AWS. We offer Claude subscriptions and other premium AI tools to everyone.
