Requirements
- Have a minimum of 5 years of IC layout experience.
- Be proficient with CAD layout tools.
- Demonstrate IC layout experience across all levels of the design hierarchy.
- Be competent with device matching techniques and routing sensitive signals.
- Have experience with floor-planning and chip assembly.
- Be able to independently interpret DRC and LVS results.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field, or have equivalent experience.
- Adapt to and learn new tools and processes.
- Take ownership of large-scale layout blocks.
- Familiarisation with auto-routing/physical implementation tools is a nice-to-have.
- Experience with layout of high-voltage devices is a nice-to-have.
- Ability to use scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or SKILL is a nice-to-have.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality, full-custom, mixed-signal integrated circuit layouts.
- Contribute to the development of IC designs.
- Work across all design levels, from base cells to chip top-level.
- Collaborate with designers to understand specific circuit requirements.
- Deliver DRC/LVS-clean layouts within project schedules.
- Implement designs on a variety of fabrication processes.
