Requirements

  • Have 8+ years of total IT or IT service management experience.
  • Have at least 5 years of direct, hands-on experience leading ServiceNow Change and Release Management, including independent ownership.
  • Have experience managing change controls in validated GxP or similarly regulated IT environments.
  • Understand audit trails, validation evidence, Computer System Validation, and regulated-technology compliance requirements.
  • Have deep knowledge of ITIL frameworks; ITIL v4 certification is strongly preferred.
  • Understand the relationship between Change and Release Management and Incident and Problem Management.
  • Be able to independently assess technical change risks and establish appropriate governance and approval pathways.
  • Be able to operate autonomously and make governance decisions without routine operational escalation.
  • Have exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Be confident leading cross-functional governance discussions and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Have strong organizational skills and be able to coordinate concurrent releases and workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Own ServiceNow Change and Release Management processes end to end as the primary authority for platform governance.
  • Evaluate change requests, assess technical and operational risks, and determine approval and governance pathways.
  • Review Change Records for required Computer System Validation evidence and documentation in GxP-regulated environments.
  • Plan and coordinate complex release schedules across platform configurations, custom integrations, and vendor-driven updates.
  • Manage release dependencies, risks, approvals, and timelines.
  • Lead Change Advisory Board meetings and facilitate decisions about proposed changes and releases.
  • Represent ServiceNow platform governance in cross-functional forums with technical stakeholders and executive representatives.
  • Apply ITIL-aligned practices across Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management workflows.
  • Maintain documentation and audit readiness while monitoring governance processes to minimize production disruption.
